It’s Labor Day weekend! This is a time to recognize the many contributions workers have made to America’s strength, prosperity, and well-being. We would especially like to thank our team at Elliott for their dedication to continuously improving our products and processes. We should all be proud that we design and deliver great products. We know the combination of our new facility, committed team and lean journey all play a key role in helping us become a world class manufacturer.
Labor Day is also a great time to thank our customers and their teams for all you do to make our country a better place. Whether you are providing goods or services, the one thing we all have in common is the need for good teamwork. We appreciate the trust you put in us to provide equipment to help you perform at your best.
On August 16, President Biden signed the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) into law. This is considered the most meaningful climate bill ever passed in the US. This is big news in clean energy innovation, and will affect many of our customers, particularly those in transmission construction and maintenance.
Supply chain issues are showing early signs of easing, however we continue to have extended lead times for new machines. As a result, we urge our utility and contractor customers to look ahead and be prepared for future work by ensuring their fleet is up to par and their machines can accomplish all that they need to, smoothly and efficiently.
