POWERING THE FUTURE

The 70th Annual Electric Utility Fleet Managers Conference (EUFMC) will be held June 4-7 in Williamsburg, Virginia.

To attend the conference, from its early years until today, utility and supplier representatives have to be invited. Invitations to this must-attend event are highly sought after by fleet managers and manufacturers alike.

Elliott is proud to have a presence at this annual convention and we are prepared to contribute to its success. Decade-by-decade EUFMC has served the changing needs of utility fleets and addressed the continuing advent of new technologies.

Celebrating our 75th anniversary, Elliott takes immense pride in our long-standing contribution to the industry.

With five more years in existence than the EUFMC itself, Elliott has witnessed and driven transformative changes throughout its journey. As a trusted manufacturer of high-quality equipment, Elliott has consistently pushed the boundaries of innovation, empowering utility fleets to operate efficiently, safely, and sustainably. Elliott’s remarkable legacy and commitment to progress position it as a prominent participant at the EUFMC.

See you in Williamsburg!

ACCELERATE YOUR BUSINESS GROWTH WITH SECTION 179

Section 179 is a tax provision that allows businesses to deduct the full purchase price of qualifying equipment or machinery in the year it is placed into service, rather than depreciating it over several years.

Here’s how Section 179 can make now a great time to buy an Elliott machine!

  1. Increased Deduction Limit: Section 179 allows businesses to deduct up to $1,050,000 of the equipment’s purchase price. This means that if you buy an Elliott machine and it qualifies under Section 179, you can potentially deduct the full purchase price up to this limit, reducing your taxable income for the year of purchase.
  2. Bonus Depreciation: In addition to the Section 179 deduction, businesses can also take advantage of bonus depreciation. This allows you to deduct an additional percentage of the equipment’s cost on top of the Section 179 deduction.
  3. Lowered Cost of Ownership: By taking advantage of the Section 179 deduction and bonus depreciation, you can effectively lower the cost of acquiring an Elliott machine. The tax savings realized through these deductions can help offset the upfront cost of the equipment.
  4. Improved Cash Flow: Deducting the full purchase price of the equipment upfront can provide businesses with a significant cash flow advantage. Instead of spreading the deduction over several years, you can benefit from the tax savings immediately, allowing you to reinvest that money back into your business.

It’s important to note that tax laws can change, so it’s crucial to consult with a tax professional or accountant to understand the current provisions and how they specifically apply to your business.

HIGH QUALITY MEANS SAFETY

In recognition of National Safety Month, we want to shine a spotlight on component quality and its direct correlation to safety.

High-quality components are typically more reliable and less prone to failure or malfunction. When equipment operates reliably, it reduces the chances of accidents or incidents that could potentially harm operators.

Additionally, high-quality components are designed and manufactured to withstand demanding conditions and extended use. This durability ensures that the equipment remains in good working order for a longer period, reducing the likelihood of unexpected failures that could endanger operators.

Finally, high-quality components often offer better precision and accuracy in their operation. This is especially important in safety-critical equipment where precise measurements or control are necessary. Components that provide accurate and precise functionality can help prevent errors or deviations that may pose safety risks.

In summary, Elliott machines and their components are engineered with safety in mind. While high-quality components can significantly contribute to operator safety, it’s essential to consider other factors as well, such as proper inspections, training, and adherence to safety guidelines.
